As part of Inspire Week, Year 5 had an exciting visit to the Kesslers Ltd office, where they had the unique opportunity to step into the world of business and creativity. Throughout the week, the children worked hard in teams to develop their own business ideas, taking on roles and responsibilities to create products, plan marketing strategies, and prepare professional presentations.
Each team pitched their ideas to a panel of ‘Dragons’ in true entrepreneurial style. Every child contributed thoughtfully to their team’s idea, and their presentations were delivered with impressive confidence, enthusiasm, and creativity. They embraced the challenge wonderfully, and it was fantastic to see them support one another and share their innovative ideas so passionately.
To cap off the day, the children were treated to a guided tour around the factory floor, where they saw the workings of a real business in action. This experience provided an exciting glimpse into the world of manufacturing and design, sparking plenty of questions and inspiration for their own budding business ventures.
