Although the school day begins at 8:55am, children may arrive from 8:45am and take part in early morning learning activities in their classrooms. The school day finishes at 3:30pm.
Each day starts with an assembly where children gather together to learn about the value of the week, discover current events and festivals, sing, celebrate and share their learning.
Play time and lunchtime staff are trained to support children’s play. There are a wide range of activities for children to enjoy, such as skipping, reading, drawing, sports and table tennis.
During lesson time, some subjects such as Maths and English are taught separately. Other subjects (Geography, History, Art, Design Technology and Computing) are taught during Topic sessions.
