Marvellous Me

Explore
Marvellous Me is a free app which tells you marvellous news about your child’s learning and positive behaviours.

Attendance & Punctuality

Explore
The school day begins at 8:55am and the school gates are opened at 8:45am. Children are recorded as late if they are not in classrooms ready for registration by 8:55am. All lateness is recorded and monitored, so it is important that your child arrives at school on time.

Behaviour

Explore
We see good behaviour as a means of ensuring all members of the school community feel safe and happy and we take a positive approach to supporting children in developing good behaviour and attitudes.

Parents Evenings

Explore
Awaiting content.

Parent View

Explore
Ofsted launched its Parent View website in November 2011. Parent View replaces the Parental Questionnaire used before inspections. Parents of children in school must register with Ofsted first before using the site. Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school.

School Meals

Explore
We have a wide selection of delicious food to cater for all of our children’s needs including vegetarian and Halal options.

Online Safety

Explore
The internet hosts many exciting opportunities for education. The online world is a wonderful place for young people to explore, with unprecedented opportunities for learning and creativity, but just like the real world there are risks and dangers they should be aware of and which we should all act to protect them from. At Morningside we encourage the use of technology as an important part of our students’ development but always want them to spend their time online safely. In school we have an internet safety code of conduct that all pupils and staff are expected to adhere too. We have strong and constantly updated filters in place to protect and govern internet use.

Covid-19 information

Explore
This page has information about our control measures and reports relating to Covid catch-up funding. We update our risk assessments regularly and hard copies are available from the office.

Badu Sport Covid-19 Support line

Explore
BADU Sport now has a support line that provides a 7 day a week telephone service (1130am-930pm). This primarily focuses on promoting access to emotional support as well as support planning for families. This is a clinically and trauma informed service which recognises the uniqueness of the current crisis and its specific impact on families.
