This week, Year 5 launched into an exciting Enterprise Week by exploring the concept of ethical businesses. The children learned what it means for a business to be ethical and discussed the principles that guide responsible practices, from fair treatment of workers to environmentally friendly approaches.
Working in teams, they then set out to create their own ethical business ideas. Each team assigned roles such as marketing, finance, and product design, allowing everyone to contribute their unique skills and ideas. They also brainstormed creative names for their businesses, carefully thinking about how to represent their values in their branding.
It’s been fantastic to see the children embracing teamwork and thinking critically about how businesses can make a positive impact on the world. We can’t wait to see their innovative ideas take shape as the week progresses!
