Year 5 have been studying The Windrush in history, to understand what life was like for the pioneers who paved the way for multicultural Britain. So far they have looked at their lives before coming to Britain (see photos below), the reasons they fought alongside Britain in WWII, how they are remembered vs white people who fought alongside them and their journey from the Caribbean to England.
