This week in maths, year 3 have been using their knowledge of place value to represent three digit numbers in different ways. One way was to use a Gattegno chart. The children partitioned the number into ones, tens and hundreds. For example, the number 342 would be represented as 300, 40 and 2. Children also used Dienes to represent different three digit numbers. Can you guess which numbers they are representing?
