This week in reading, we have been focusing on building our partner reading skills. The children paired up to practise reading aloud, taking turns to read and listen carefully. This activity helps them improve their fluency, pronunciation, and confidence, while also developing good listening skills and supporting one another.
Through partner reading, the children are learning to read with expression, understand pacing, and discuss what they have read to strengthen their comprehension. It’s been wonderful to see the enthusiasm and cooperation as they work together to grow as readers.
