This week, Year 1 put their construction skills to the test in their Design Technology lessons by designing and building their very own model cars! The children began by sketching their ideas, thinking carefully about the features their cars would need. They then used a variety of materials and tools to bring their designs to life, assembling and decorating their models with great care and creativity.
This hands-on activity encouraged problem-solving, teamwork, and perseverance as the children worked through the challenges of construction. It was fantastic to see their pride and excitement as their cars began to take shape.
