This week, Year 1 have been learning how to paint using computers, exploring the basics of digital art. Today, the children practised using different tools in a paint app to create self-portraits. From experimenting with brush sizes to selecting colours and shapes, they enjoyed discovering the possibilities that digital painting offers.
The activity helped them develop new skills in using technology creatively, while also reinforcing their understanding of shapes, colours, and fine motor control. It was wonderful to see each child’s unique self-portrait take shape on the screen, and they were so proud of their artistic achievements!
