In computing this week, Year 1 have been learning how to use a keyboard on a laptop. They practised typing their own names, developing both their typing skills and familiarity with letter placement on the keyboard. The children were excited to see their names appear on the screen and took great pride in their progress. This activity not only helps build their confidence with technology but also strengthens their fine motor skills and understanding of how laptops work.
