This week, Nursery children set out on an exciting nature walk, exploring the beauty of autumn all around them. As they wandered through the outdoor spaces, the children eagerly collected a variety of colourful leaves, acorns, conkers, and pine cones. They were fascinated by the rich reds, yellows, and browns of the fallen leaves and enjoyed feeling the textures of the different natural objects.
This hands-on experience not only allowed the children to learn about the changing seasons but also sparked wonderful conversations about colours, shapes, and textures. It was a lovely way to connect with nature, and the children returned with plenty of treasures to examine back in the classroom.
Well done to our Nursery children for their curiosity and enthusiasm during their nature walk!
