This week in Nursery, the children have been discovering the beauty of patterns using natural materials. With items like leaves, pebbles, sticks, and pinecones, they have been practising how to recognise, create, and complete patterns.
The children loved using these natural materials to make their own repeating sequences and took great care in arranging their patterns with focus and creativity. By working with items from nature, they not only learned about patterns but also strengthened their observation skills and appreciation for the world around them.
It’s been wonderful to see their excitement and pride as they explore early maths skills in such a hands-on way. Well done to all our Nursery children for their fantastic work!
