In art, we have started to create our own portraits inspired by the artist Kehinde Wiley. We looked at one of his artworks and identified the different shapes and lines we see in his work. We then looked at photos of ourselves and used these to start drawing our own portraits. We had to observe and notice how different parts of our face look and try to represent these to look as realistic as possible. We are looking forward to sharing our finished portraits.
