Year 4 has started the year off debating, ‘Is litter the biggest problem facing Hackney?’ In teams they structured arguments for or against and gave excellent reasons to support their argument. After teams presented their arguments, the rest of the class gave them feedback about what they did well and what they could do even better. These debating skills will help them next week when writing a persuasive letter.
Year 4 have also been loving their science lessons in which they have been carrying out experiments about magnets. Ask them what they learnt.
