This week in science, Year 4 have been diving into the fascinating world of animals by learning about the different animal groups. Each table took on the challenge of researching a specific animal kingdom, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates.
After gathering facts, the children confidently presented their findings to the rest of the class, sharing interesting details about the characteristics that define their assigned group. They also began learning how to identify vertebrates and invertebrates, developing a deeper understanding of how animals are classified in the natural world.
It was wonderful to see Year 4 working collaboratively, developing their research and presentation skills while expanding their knowledge of animal science.
