In Reception this week, we have been celebrating Black History Month. We have been reading lots of wonderful stories by different black authors. After reading the story Coming to England by Floella Benjamin we discussed the many different countries that our families have travelled from. We painted still life pictures of some of the fruit that Floella would buy at her local market in Trinidad and we look forward to tasting them.
