This week in writing, Year 3 have been working hard on writing their own sets of instructions, inspired by our key text Spud Murphy. The children used their imaginations to design clever and creative traps for the mischievous character, Spud Murphy, and then carefully structured their ideas into clear, step-by-step instructions. After completing their initial drafts, the pupils had the opportunity to share their writing with their partners. They took part in peer feedback sessions, offering each other constructive advice to help improve and refine their work.
It’s been wonderful to see Year 3’s enthusiasm and creativity throughout this writing task, and their commitment to improving their work has been truly impressive. Keep up the great work, Year 3!
