This week in maths, Year 2 have been developing their understanding of grouping objects. The children practised organising items into groups and learned how to identify whether the groups were equal or unequal.
They discovered that groups are equal when they contain the same number of objects and unequal when the numbers differ. Through a range of hands-on activities, the children confidently demonstrated their ability to classify groups and explain their reasoning.
