This week, Year 2 went on a fabulous trip to Hackney Museum for their Mas, Music and Movement Carnival workshop. We uncovered the history of carnival in Hackney across a 50 year period. We learnt about the emergence of the Caribbean carnival, the influence of the Windrush generations and the introduction of their carnival traditions.
