This week in maths, year 4 have been learning about perimeter. They know perimeter is the distance around the edge of a shape. In pairs the children investigated which leaves had the greatest perimeter. They used a piece of string to measure around the edge of the leaf, then measured the string using a ruler to find out which leaf had the greatest perimeter.
