Overview of the BADU Support Line
Our Sports Coaches, BADU Sport now has a support line that provides a 7 day a week telephone service (1130am-930pm). This primarily focuses on promoting access to emotional support as well as support planning for families. This is a clinically and trauma informed service which recognises the uniqueness of the current crisis and its specific impact on vulnerable families. We seek to ensure their continued access to appropriate care and support during this time whilst complying to government advice and recommendations.
What the phone service will provide:

Listening – Sometimes this is enough in itself
Signposting – To appropriate services but will also look up this information for individuals as they may be unable to do this for themselves.
General wellbeing advice and emotional support
Practical support – callers may require practical support regarding structure to their day or how to manage day to day tasks.
Befriending Service – weekly calls to individuals who request this and keeping in touch with families.
