What an incredible end to the term at Morningside. The school has been absolutely alive this week: full of music, colour, celebration and community. It has been so special to see so many families in school, sharing these moments with us and with the children.
Our Pastoral Team Coffee Morning was the busiest we have ever had. The room was full of conversation, connection and support; this is a real reflection of the strength of our community.
A huge well done to our Year 2 and Year 6 children, whose African Dance and Drumming performance on Wednesday was truly unforgettable. The rhythm, energy and confidence were outstanding, and the joy in the room said it all. Thank you to everyone who came to watch and take part; it made the experience even more special for the children.
This morning’s Easter Bonnet Parade was a perfect finale. The creativity and imagination on display were brilliant. There were so many hats full of colour, humour and originality. It was lovely to see so many families there, celebrating alongside the children.
Moments like these remind us what makes Morningside such a special place.
We wish all our families a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 13th April at 8:45am, ready for the Summer Term.
Happy Easter to all those celebrating next weekend.
