After School Clubs
It is our aim at Morningside to provide a varied and enriching after school club programme which encourages children to learn new skills; develop their talents and broaden their horizons. All of our clubs currently run from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. There is a £2 fee per session for the majority of the clubs. In order for children to be eligible to attend the clubs, payment for the whole term must be made in advance.
The variety of clubs we offer are listed below:
Monday
- Cookery Years 5 and 6 Make and bake delicious healthy food with Awa.
- Times tables Years 1 – 6 Become a times tables whizz with Liz.
- Football Years 1 and 2 Refine your skills with Coach Kash: footwork, teamwork and fun.
Tuesday
- Multi-Sports Years 5 and 6 Take part in a range of different sporting activities with Coach Kash.
- Cookery Years 3 and 4 Make and bake delicious healthy food with Awa.
- Stop Motion Animation Years 4 and 5 Make your own films with Martin.
- Yarn Crafts Years 5 and 6 Learn to knit and crochet with Gamze.
- Music and Games Years 1 -4 Have fun learning new musical skills with Mbombo.
Wednesday
- Fitness Years 3 and 4 Keep fit and develop your core strength with Coach Kash.
- Rounders Years 5 and 6 Have fun playing this traditional summer sport with Cala.
- Cookery Years 1 and 2 Make and bake delicious healthy food with Awa.
- Art Years 1 – 6 Learn new creative skills with Liz.
Thursday
- Football Years 5 and 6 Refine your skills with Coach Kash: footwork, teamwork and fun.
- Ukulele Years 3 – 6 Learn to play the ukulele with Kim.
- Lego Years 2 and 3 Design and built your own creations with Martin.
Friday
- Steel Pans Years 5 and 6 Practise your steel pan technique and learn to play as a group with Kerry.
- Into Film Years 4 – 6 Watch some fabulous films with Sting.
- Multi-Sports Years 3 and 4 Take part in a range of different sporting activities with Coach Kash.
