Junior Road Safety Workshops
Last week, year 5 participated in a road safety workshop. The children now have a better understanding of the roads and how to keep themselves safe.
We are pleased to announce that due to this workshop, recent cycle training and the ongoing work of our Junior road safety officers, Morningside received the road safety team “school of the month” for March.
Key Stage 1 tag rugby tournament
On Tuesday, our year 2 girls and boys tag rugby teams played a competition against St John & St James’ year 2s. Both teams showed resilience and confidence in their games. The best thing was seeing how much fun they had. The girls came away with a win. Congratulations to both teams for showing excellent sporting behaviour.
London Eye trip
Congratulations to 6S for their impeccable behaviour throughout the Spring term. The children in this class have been respectful, safe and ready at all times and excellent roles to the rest of the school; therefore, they won the whole school behaviour trip to the London Eye.

Play at Morningside
The children have enjoyed being able to play outside this week with all the amazing new resources donated from our families.
Uniform
Children are expected to wear school uniform at all times as this fosters a sense of belonging: Uniforms create a sense of belonging and unity within the school community. When children wear the same attire, they feel part of a collective group, which can enhance school spirit and pride.
Please refer to our uniform expectations on the website. Please note that leggings are not part of our uniform.
