Reindeer Run
On Monday, the children participated in a Reindeer Run, a festive and fun-filled event in which our children ran laps of the school to raise vital funds for Homerton Hospital. The children embraced the festive spirit, donned their antlers, and ran with enthusiasm to support this meaningful cause.
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we were able to raise £143 to help the hospital continue its incredible work.
Christmas Panto
On Tuesday, there was lots of excitement as the pantomime came to Morningside! The children were treated to a dazzling performance of Jack and the Beanstalk, filled with laughter, catchy songs, and plenty of audience participation. The cast brought the classic tale to life with colourful costumes, lively music, and just the right amount of panto silliness to keep everyone thoroughly entertained. From booing the villain to cheering for Jack and his daring adventures, the children were completely entertained from start to finish.

Is my child too ill for school?
It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they are unwell.
It is fine to send your child to school with a minor cough or common cold. But if they have fever or a high temperature above 38oC, keep them off school until it goes away. If they are unwell for a couple of days, seek GP advice.
