As ever, it has been a busy and rewarding week in school. It was lovely to see so many parents attending our reading sessions – thank you for taking the time to join us. We hope you enjoyed being part of the lessons and getting a glimpse into your child’s learning experience.
We are delighted to welcome Sherica to our admin team as our new Finance Assistant. Many of you may already have met her in the front office; she has quickly become a valued member of the team, and we’re very pleased to have her with us.
We were also thrilled to welcome the Royal Institution into school this week. Their fantastic science shows certainly sparked excitement and curiosity; there was a real buzz about science across the school!
A small plea from us: our crochet club continues to grow in popularity, with over 50 children keen to take part. We are, however, running short on yarn. If you have any spare at home, we would be incredibly grateful for any donations. Please hand these into the office or directly to Jo.
Finally, a reminder that this weekend is the bank holiday. We hope you all have a wonderful long weekend and look forward to seeing everyone back at the usual time on Tuesday.

As part of our OPaL (Outdoor Play and Learning) programme, we are continuing to develop our playground to give children richer, more creative and more adventurous play opportunities.
We have created an Amazon Wishlist with items that would really enhance our play offer. If you would like to support, you can do so by purchasing an item from the list and having it sent directly to school.
There is absolutely no expectation to contribute, but we are very grateful for any support. These small additions make a big difference to children’s play experiences every day.

This week, we want to celebrate 5M who have 99.2% attendance . A HUGE congratulations and keep up the excellent work; it has a great impact on learning and progress. You can help your child’s class win the weekly fruit platter by making sure they are at school everyday.
