#year6 has been doing some brilliant thinking around using counters to show that numbers are #prime or #composite. Wonderful #mathematical language is being used and outstanding #reasoning.
This week #year6 were physicists. In partners, the children planned an #investigation to explore questions around #shadows. We’ll test and record data next!
#Year6 have been scaling factors, multiplying and dividing both factors by the same amount, to keep the product the same. We had some great discussions about if this rule always works, and discovered that it doesn't work with addition and subtraction. #oracy #maths

In #Year6, we began our new #science unit all about light by thinking about how light helps us to see. We looked at our partner's pupils in the light and dark - we noticed that our pupils dilated in less lit environments.
In #RE this week #Year6 reflected about who has influenced or inspired them and why. They analysed inspirational quotes and used a diamond structure to order them.
