It has been another busy and positive week at Morningside. It was lovely to see so many parents and children at our Arts and Crafts Workshop with Michelle. There was a great atmosphere, with lots of creativity and shared enjoyment across the morning.
Year 6 also took part in healthy sleep workshops with Tobi, our Education Mental Health Practitioner. The sessions focused on why sleep is so important for both wellbeing and learning, along with practical strategies such as creating a calm bedtime routine, reducing screen time before bed and finding ways to relax and unwind. The children engaged really thoughtfully and had some excellent discussions.
We would like to wish all of our Year 6 children the very best of luck for their SATs next week. They have worked incredibly hard and shown great determination. We are very proud of them and are sure they will do brilliantly.
A reminder that next Friday we will be taking part in Mental Health Awareness Week’s “Wear It Green Day”. Children are invited to wear something green to help raise awareness and show support.
We have also been busy adding to our Instagram page. Why not take a look to see reminders of upcoming events and updates about learning and activities in school? Follow us for daily news.

We have created an Amazon Wishlist with items that would really enhance our play offer. If you would like to support, you can do so by purchasing an item from the list and having it sent directly to school.
There is absolutely no expectation to contribute, but we are very grateful for any support. These small additions make a big difference to children’s play experiences every day.
