It has been so lovely to see all the children back, fit and healthy, after half term. It’s been a busy week as usual. We have been thinking about the important of collective responsibility using the book ‘What if everybody did..?’ as a stimulus, for example, ‘What if everybody decided that it wasn’t their turn to tidy up?!’ We learned how everyone needs to play their part in the Morningside team.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the PTA meeting this morning. It was lovely to see all the enthusiasm for supporting the Easter Fayre.
We are really looking forward to World Book Day next week on Thursday 6th March. Don’t forget that children can come to school dressed as a book character on that day.
Have a great weekend.
Jo and Rachel
The workshops take place on the following dates:
Year 1 – Monday 3rd March 2025 2:15 – 3:15pm
Year 2 – Friday 28th February 2:15pm – 3:15pm
If you have not yet signed up and would like to attend, please use this link: https://forms.gle/rSLLnWRNMggTHhVe7 or let the office team know that you would like to come.
Following on from the important discussions during Safer Internet Day, we want to remind you about the importance of monitoring your child’s online activity. Many popular social media platforms, including WhatsApp (16+), Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat (all 13+), have minimum age requirements in place to help protect young users. We encourage you to check these guidelines and ensure your child is using online platforms safely and appropriately. Open and ongoing conversations about online safety are the best way to help keep your child safe online. Thank you for your continued support.
